Friday July 19, 2024, in fact. 4:40pm. Is there a more perfect time or day? Nope. Not even close. And for those who didn’t know or don’t agree I’ll gladly tell you why.
Well, for one you have the whole weekend ahead of you. Two, 4:40pm means my commute lasted only 35 minutes which means I didn’t have to sit in traffic until 5:40pm! Three, it’s happy hour. Four, there’s live music happening somewhere. And five, I get to have my weekly minute of peaceful solitude to meditate while gazing into my backyard. Hence the photo above.
We’ve had a string of 90 degree days without any rain. My lawn which was once full of grass is now feeling the effects of a summer dry spell. During the spring it rained almost every weekend resulting in me cutting grass twice a week. Don’t have to worry about that any time soon…
So let’s kick this weekend off right. Do everything you want to do for the next couple of days. Just remember to use your time wisely because the Monday morning alarm is but 68 hours away. Lol.
