Hey. Calling all married men. Listen up. Question: Are you a married man who, like me, let your wife convince you to install a doorbell camera? All in the name of keeping the home safe, right? But……in actuality the doorbell camera was really installed to watch YOU! That’s right fellas.
It took a minute to for me to realize but it has become obvious. Everytime I leave my house my wife sees ME on it. Everytime I return to my house my wife can see ME on the camera. There are some days when I want to come and go as I please without anyone knowing my whereabouts but the doorbell camera makes this impossible.
To be honest my house doesn’t need security cameras. Been here for many years without incident. My street is so quiet people often ride by without even noticing the homes. Nothing here to see. My wife doesn’t care. The cameras stay. Honestly, she added to what we already have.
So to my married brothers: Hopefully you are smarter than me and refused to install outdoor cameras. Or, unlike me, maybe you have outsmarted your wives and can move freely about you homes undetected by already installed units.
Time for me to figure something out. I got some things I need to sneak into the house because I’m running out of room in my car…….
