“The Wind Is Calling”

The Wind is calling, without a face and without a name

But upon its arrival you’ll know it and feel it just the same

Invisible like its distant cousin the Light, only revealing itself once it reaches its destination

Finally announcing its presence without any doubt or reservation

Light needs no companion, traveling at a constant speed far too fast to care how you feel

But the Wind, nah. It needs you. For validation.  It can change speeds. And direction. And though unseen, it wants you to know that it is indeed real

And every now and then the Wind will ask its closer cousin the Snow to come out and play

When the conditions allow, the Wind and the Snow come together to tease the Light, robbing mere mortals of vision even during the day

As Mother Nature calls the sun to set, the Light retreats, leaving the Wind and Snow to the impending night

Leaving all living things to experience life through other senses, without benefit of full sight

But be still and listen closely, even when the trees barely move as the Snow starts falling

Just above your own thoughts, just barely, you’ll hear that the Wind is still calling

“Collateral Damage”

Fighting (and murders) in the streets of American cities. Invasions of foreign countries. This is Donald (T)Rump’s life. This is how he lives. Fighting against himself. Unnecessary confrontations yielding diminished returns revealing a forty year history of conducting business at ANY cost. And yet some people thought he deserved the opportunity to display his politcal incompetence a second time…..Guess who’s going to pay for this? Surely not Mexico!

(T)Rump has lived his entire adult life under an identity crisis. Consider this: he is a member of one of the most exclusive groups of people in the world. He is an American white male who is wealthy, influential and powerful. And yet his insecurities, irrational behavior, immature demeanor, sensitive emotions and impulsive actions show his lack of self-esteem and magnify his paranoia. His cold exterior and mean-spirited actions toward those who cannot defend themselves prove him to be less of a bully but more so a coward. Being a draft dodger and giving so little to his country emphasizes his selfishness and lack of patriotism.

Question: is there any evidence that (T)Rump had any girlfriends as an adolescent? No evidence of dating in high school? No girlfriends in college? Just asking…

“Believe Them”

New Year. Holidays are over. I purposely avoided writing about politics during the Holidays despite everything that was going on. And now I’m hearing some people are having “voters remorse”…….

Anything you wanted to know about Donald Trump (save for the Epstein files) has been public for at least 40 years. Reckless business practices with much collateral damage. The kind of business man who spends a dollar to make 75 cent. Who is surprised? As the saying goes, when someone shows you who they are……..
